Line Judge
Thursday 10:00 – 15:00
Friday and Saturday 7:00 – 12:00 and 12:00 – 17:00
Description -  Observe the riders on the course, noting exceptions such as cone touches or if the rider goes out of pattern, or  anything else that could effect the outcome of the run.  Report observations to the head judge, in real time.   Should disputes occur, the lead judge may consult line judges for additional information.   In the instance where a rider tips a cone or goes out of pattern, the line judge will replace the cones AFTER reporting incident to head judge and BEFORE the next rider starts.  Line judges will be standing for most of the day, but may bring a chair for brief breaks between runs.

Traffic Control
Thursday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Friday 7:00 am - 5:00 pm and Saturday 7:00 am - 17:00
Description - Traffic control volunteers will be assigned to one of six entry points to the secure parking lot or to one of two pedestrian cross walks.   The traffic control team will redirect non-competitor riders and vehicles to alternative parking lots.  The objective of this role is to ensure the motorcycle riding competitors have a safe, open space to practice and compete, free of vehicle and pedestrian traffic.  This is mandatory per insurance requirements.

Stagers
 Friday 7:00 am - 5 pm and Saturday 7:00 am - 17:00
Description - Make sure riders are ready and in order for their run. It is imperative that the competition keeps moving with no gaps in time. Stagers will be responsible for riders being in line, ready to compete.  The Stager will manage the rider queue by a master list.  If a rider is not ready at the appropriate time, the head judge can approve moving to the next rider, ensuring all line judges and the announcer are aware of the change.  The objective is to keep the competition moving with little down time (10-20 seconds) between riders.

Lot Safety
Friday 7:00 am - 5 pm and Saturday 7:00 am - 17:00
Description - The Lot Safety Volunteers responsibility is to ensure the patterns are set up, as designed and the course is free from debris.  At least once per day, or more as needed, the Lot Safety Volunteers will maintain the lot by “blowing” or sweeping the lots to remove debris.  Additionally, the lot safety volunteer will assist with course set up and tear down.  The objective is to provide a safe course for our competitors.

Event Support Staff
Thursday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Friday 7:00 am - 5:00 pm and Saturday 7:00 am -  17:00
Description – Event support staff will assist with registration each morning, setting out snacks, keeping the rest area fee from trash that could blow in to the course.  Staff will monitor the coolers to make sure they are full of water and ice, refilling as necessary. Additionally, the event support staff will monitor and empty trash cans and notify the venue in the event assistance is needed.   The event support staff is a general role and will be assisting in all areas of the event.
